Lisa Kaye has worked as a senior human resource leader for top companies in the digital media, e-commerce, technology, television, film, animation, retail, hospitality and the live entertainment space for over 20 years. Having successfully launched a niche media and entertainment industry job board and career site at http://www.greenlightjobs.com in 2001, the site boasts over 30,000 job postings and over 60,000 unique monthly visitors. In addition, her company provides talent management, research, sourcing and executive search services to top tier clients in the media, entertainment, retail and technology industries.

As an entrepreneur and a business professional, Kaye consults with leading media companies from start-up, merger & acquisition, reorganization or management restructuring. Currently, Kaye is handling the integration of technology innovator, Oculus VR in its $2 billion dollar acquisition by Facebook (FB). Most recently, Kaye assisted with the $60 million dollar restructuring of Sonifi Solutions, formerly LodgeNet and worked closely with Private Equity, Colony Capital and investors laying the foundation for strategic business and operational HR best practices. Some of her HR consulting assignments include, the launch of the The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), building the talent acquisition and HR team at Guitar Center, building the HR practices for the launch of SBE Entertainment’s Las Vegas properties as well as having worked in CHRO roles with, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, House of Blues and with Disney/Pixar. Kaye worked on the post-merger acquisition of Ticketmaster & Live Nation (LYV) realizing nearly $60 million in cost reductions including merging two organizations with a combined total asset of over $4 billion and a total global employee population of over 25,000 full-time and seasonal employees. Kaye has acted as interim Chief HR Advisor for both public and private companies, while helping business leaders solve issues around corporate restructuring, realignment, compensation and staffing. Kaye is an expert in her field having worked with notable start-up ventures as well as established companies to help streamline organizational efficiencies, reduce cost and improve overall company profitability and employee engagement.

Kaye gained her reputation as a seasoned business executive specializing in strategic human resources best practices. Prior to launching a successful HR consulting practice, Kaye held the post of Senior Vice President, Human Resources for E! Networks, now part of Comcast/NBCU, and served as part of the Operating Committee managing the company through a two-year management restructure.  In her role at E! Kaye was responsible for implementing and directing key “best practices” initiatives for the company including re-engineering of its senior management team and realizing the launch of digital media start-up E! Online.

Kaye currently serves on the Board of Directors of “CTHRA” The Cable and Telecommunication Human Resources Association, which advises the cable television and telecommunications industry in the area of Human Resources best practices and serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee – the leading resource for HR professionals on trends and data in compensation. Kaye makes her home in Los Angeles and in New York with Simon & Simone her Maltese traveling companions. She attended St John’s University and is a graduate of Fordham University, NY with degrees in Media Communications and Journalism
